Chinese Shooting in Phnom Penh Street at Dawn
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): This morning, there was a shooting incident that caused a man to be seriously injured and sent to the hospital at 7 am on April 4, 2022, outside a condominium near the former Karaoke Ex along the corner of Street 55 and Street 222 in Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
According to sources, before the incident, a group of Chinese suspects were seen arguing with another group of Chinese people who had come down from the Daun Penh condo.
One of the Chinese men then pulled out a pistol and fired off more than ten shots, according to witnesses. A man was shot and he fell on the road in a pool of blood, while the shooter escaped in a Mercedes car. (The license plate number was not recovered.)
The victim was seriously injured and was rushed to Calmette Hospital. Police are searching for the Chinese nationals involved in the shooting.

Aren't they supposed to keep this crap on Koh Pich or in Sihanoukville?

As if we need this shit in our lives right now. Now we have to look out for random gunmen?
Once you've read the dictionary, every other book is just a remix.
Re: Chinese Shooting in Phnom Penh Street at Dawn
The shooter fired ten rounds and the victim still alive, this Chinese should go back to the shooting range to improve his accuracy.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 3:02 pm

Fired (more than) ten shots, and the victim was seriously injured.
How many shots found their mark, and how many went wide? Or exaggeration?

Anybody used to shooting handguns knows that's quite possible. Even when you're trained it's fairly difficult to hit a moving target that's more than 30m away, so with a stressed, untrained henchman wielding the weapon, your odds of success diminish tremendously. Possibly on meth too... Not at all like in the movies.Freightdog wrote:Fired (more than) ten shots, and the victim was seriously injured.

It’s the “missed it” bit. The shooter managed to only injure the victim with more than ten shots. It’s the random bullet, bystander injury that becomes the concern. No doubt the Chinese can justify their behaviour within their own circles, but they have a habit of letting it stray outside, too.

If ten shots were fired and the target/victim is still alive, we can safely assume not all the shots hit their mark and those that missed could have struck anything or anyone.
In this reckless Wild West style gun play, everybody is in danger.
