Taxi or late bus from Siem Reap to Battambang leaving 3:30pm?

Hello everyone. I'm landing in Siem Reap at 2:30pm and going to Battambang. The last bus I can find online leaves at 2:30pm so I'll miss it. Does anyone know if there are minibuses or taxis for hire in Siem Reap to get me to Battambang that late in the day? I speak enough Khmer to work it out with a driver if there is an place where they can be hired that late in the day. Thanks.

Taxi's go from the the corner of route 6 near the old bus station (https://www.google.com/maps/@13.3582764,103.8871708,18z), entire taxi probably around $50 I would guess (it's been a long time). Share taxi would bring that price down depending on the number of people but you may struggle depending on how late you actually get there and sort it out.

You can use Camboticket.com to book private taxi online.. $55 one way. You can set your own time and you can request pickup from the airport. Better do the booking at least few days earlier.

Thanks all. I think if I want to be sure to get to Battambang that evening I need to prearrange. I'd hate to go looking and no one wants to take me!
