Four Drug Overdose Victims Found in Parked Car: 2 Dead

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 6:30 pm on March 9, 2022, in Borey Kamakor village, Sangkat Cheung Ek, Khan Dongkor, 2 men were found dead in a car parked outside a house. The victims were Chamroeun Chhaya, a 27-year-old male taxi driver, and Lov Chayhong, a 26-year-old man from village 4, Sangkat Tomnup Teuk, Khan Boeung Keng Kong, and it is strongly suspected that the two men died of a drug overdose.

The car was parked in front of a neighbor's house until the evening of the next day, so the neighbors became suspicious and checked on the car. The police were called to investigate, and they found 4 people, 2 men and 2 women, unconscious in a Hyundai car (PNH 2AM-2178). The 2 men were found to be already dead, but the two 2 unconscious women were taken to the hospital.
The four are suspected to suffer from drug overdoses and drugs were found in the car. The police continue to examine the victims and investigate the case.

It's all a bit too weird for them to be all sitting in a car together. Why would they do that when there's a whole house there? I wonder what that is anyway, probably heroin/fentanyl.

Odd for all of them to OD at the same time, must have been way way stronger than they expected.

They may have thought it was cocaine. I remember the same thing happened to a group of Phnom Penh Post journalists back in the day, not unheard of.

It sounds odd. The hood of the car is up and in a kinda enclosed area. Could carbon monoxide be a factor?
