Anyone been able to use these machines successfully? I've tried different machines on different days with no success and no coherent response from the staff. Do I need advanced authorisation to use them?

Using a card not the QR version.
use them often, never had any issues whether card or qr

I didn't get that far Kammekor. I put my card in, type my PIN and it fails/ cancels before looking at my money.
