Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Two police officers were seriously injured when a suspect stabbed them with a knife at 11 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the base of the Chroy Changva bridge.
According to authorities, initially, police went to arrest a suspect who was selling drugs at the base of the Chroy Changva bridge on the east bank, but the suspect pulled out a knife from his waist and stabbed the police, causing serious injuries to one of them.
The suspect then fled from the scene along the river about 1 km to the north, and hid in a rented room. The military police arrived at the place where the suspect was hiding and broke through the zinc door to arrest the suspect, but then the suspect jumped out and stabbed another police officer, causing injuries.
During the following half an hour that it took to arrest the suspect, police fired off a number of shots with their firearms. The suspect, who was known to be an active drug dealer in the village, has been taken into custody and is currently being interrogated by the Anti-Drug Department.

Re: Stabbings and Shots Fired in Drug Dealer's Arrest
Tackling a drug dealer is one thing, but tackling a guy who's methed out at the time is another story has we see.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
