He aims to restore the borders of 1989. Europe, especially Germany, tried to appease him for two decades..... That didn't work well so far.

Sorry to disagree with you, but you don’t appease anyone who has invaded your country. The longer this drags out the worse it is for Putin. His people are already turning on him, let them deal with him and the Kremlin.

Royal Marines deployed on ‘high-risk covert operations’ in Ukraine

Lieutenant General Robert Magowan has revealed that the Royal Marines took part in “discreet operations” in Kyiv earlier this year

The Royal Marines have taken part in covert operations in Ukraine, a senior general has admitted for the first time.

Lieutenant General Robert Magowan said that the commandos supported “discreet operations” in a “hugely sensitive environment”. He said that their missions carried “a high level of political and military risk”.
