Money Change Options

Post by AlexJonesCrab »

Where is the best place to change Australian Dollars when I land in PP?

Airport?

Or just get enough for the ride to hotel, then go to....?

And do the Aussie dollars have to be perfectly in tact like , apprently the Cambos demand for the US Dollars? 9No tears, rips, creases etc)

IMHO, the best ones are on 136 between Central Market and St. 51.

Actually the rates at PNH are usually within range of being reasonable, albeit you will always get a better rate at the good places in town.
Last time I was in Europe, I noticed the FX desks have stopped showing their rates. That's because they are so mind-numbingly bad that their best strategy is just to keep quiet and rely on the odd sucker who just plomks his money down and doesn't ask.

It's not the main market, it's one of the older ones and it's close to Riverside. Psah Kandal means Central Market in Khmer. Not to be confused with Psah (Tom) Thmey which means New (Big) Market in Khmer but is called Central Market in English. :?
Silence, exile, and cunning.
