Thought I would share one of the ways I am following the Ukraine news. That is using live air traffic map to follow "hot" stories around the world. Lately it has been Ukraine with the developments there. Below is a screen capture I took yesterday, followed an American air force drone RQ-4A Global Hawk drone for hours. It will be interesting to see how things change when the brown gooey stuff hits the rotating device.



Note I use flightrader24.com, have found it to have more info (planes) than flightaware.com

What other sites, other than normal "news sources" do you like to visit to keep up on news stories. (Other the CEL )
examples.... reddit.com, nextdoor etc. etc.

Update... JAKE12, a BIG reconnaissance aircraft (spy) just arrived over Ukraine. Before it was just a drone, now they've brought in the big boys. Meanwhile Russia has hinted at defusing the situation over there (Moving tanks out of Crimea).
