Whoopi Goldberg was suspended from ABC's "The View" talk show on Tuesday for asserting a day earlier that the Holocaust was "not about race," the network's news division president said, addressing a furor over the comments.

"This is white people doing it to white people, so y’all going to fight amongst yourselves," Goldberg said at one point.

I am sure glad the Goldberg is an African American name. Otherwise this could be wierd.

Well strictly speaking that’s correct. As an example of “racism” Asians see us (European, North and South Americans, Southern Hemisphere population- SA, Australia, NZ, Russians) as all white barang.
When they see African Americans it confuses them a bit.

I think her words should have been spoken a little differently (or not at all) and that’s a bad and touchy comparison.

It’s ok. Hollywood has a short memory. Look at Mel Gibson as an example.
