Birthday Party Guest Murdered While Eating

Cambodia News (Siem Reap Province): At 9:20 pm on January 27, 2022, in Kraing village, Khvav commune, Chi Kreng district, Siem Reap province, a birthday party turned into a homicide, when a 47-year-old man, a carpenter called Soy Pirom, was brutally murdered by a 33-year-old man called Nhov Tin.

According to shocked eyewitnesses, the victim had been invited to celebrate the birthday party, and while he was eating at a table with the other guests, the suspect approached with a long knife and attacked the victim to death.

The suspect was arrested and detained at the police station. Further information on a possible motive for the killing has not yet been updated.
