visa

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Haha, unfortunately not that I have come across.
Does that mean that all the visitors whom we're claiming to be stuck in the country and allowed to stay on their initial tourists visa now have too convert or leave ?
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Straight from the horses mouth (translated from Khminglish - no names or details will be mentioned)...

There has been no official end to the exemption, overstayers should present themselves to the DoI Visa office in Pochentong, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (ie. New Zealanders who have been unable to secure an MIQ spot, travellers who's countries remain closed or restricted due to unavailability of flights, etc.)

...now, whether they are actually diligently assessing on a case-by-case basis is another thing...

Clear as mud? 😂

At the end of the day, there really is no excuse for still being on overstay, as the option to apply for a conversion to an E-type Visa EOS has been available for several months now.
