the first country in SEA who will completely legalize cannabis will have a HUGE impact on its arrival of foreign tourists. Bet my nuts on that,
work is for people who cant find truffles

Always "hope" but never "expect".

Re: on the road to Legalisation of household cannabis, limited recreational use
I just read that the health dept has found and identified 28? 38? old Thai landraces and is patenting them. We may yet see the exact old Thal/"buddha" once again.
They are planning to boost foreign tourism with heavy promotion of a new cannabis driven "wellness" and "medicinal" sector.
My reading is that they are fast heading for a very liberalised scene.
I am just now waiting for approval of my medicinal cannabis treatment here on Oz.
One of the "medications" chosen by my specialist doctor and myself...
Hummingbud, Golden Grove
"Wild Thai" strain originally sourced 40 years ago in the Koh Chang archipelago.
An extremely varied turpine and cannaboloid spectrum. 22% THC.
Grown under strictest medicinal conditions, in red dirt, outdoors in Jamaica.
Thai pot was a huge part of my life for about the full 10 years when it was "the thing". Some of the adventures around it were the most "interesting"/exciting times of my life. But one of my friends spent 11 years in "Bangkok Hilton" as the price of his quest. Two others were murdered.
I can see Koh Kut, part of the Koh Chang archipelago where my new 'medication' originally comes from, from my kayak in Koh Kong - but i had to get stranded in Oz to once again find this product that i have not seen for 40 years. And legal.. ffs!!
I like that long slow circle. Life is a constant wonder.

As always to most people it's just a joke. Lets share stories of how much pot we smuggled or smoked.
No fucking afterthought of what it meant to the people on who you declared war while still being desperate for the product you were trying to forbid.
Anybody against legalization deserves to live on the other side, and ultimately get their heads slowly cut off with a rusty knife. Cause that is what happens to people trying to get you your drugs. Fuck.

Of course I immediately take that back. Nobody deserves any harm or foul. I apologize humbly. Am drunk and wrote something stupid on a subject that is maybe a bit too close to me.ItWasntMe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 6:35 pm As always to most people it's just a joke. Hi, I'm a bit monged out right now but who are "the people on who you declared war",?
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Hey ItWasItWasn't, thanks for the retraction. I'm still pissed off tho'.
FYI
I was a part of the generation that regarded pot as the the Great Liberator.
The cannabis users and sharers pre the criminalisation of the scene. We didn't pass pot around to buy a block of flats or a Ferrari.
We fought against your fucking wars and not just on Sundays.
Many of us, millions and millions, were so determined in our values we left our own society because we actually fucking believed in living them - not eg, just raging on social media.
Smoking a joint, passing pot around, was regarded, and was, a revolutionary act.
Number #1 - it states that we hate your flocking obscene wars.
number #2 - it means you can stick your lust for your $$$ flocking bills up your bums too.
number #3 - we don't actually need, or want, your fucked-up world. See.
It wasn't a party trick, it was a defining statement of whether you were In, or Out.
Sorry if that all passed you by.
Sorry if you are offended with a bit of social history relevant to the topic.
Sorry if you regard telling the stories of those that came before your "know everything - from google" generation came along, as "boasting".
Maybe your generation should just stick to your putrid "dutch" hybrid hyrdo shit you love so much - you obviously don't need to know anything about the finer things in life.
Nor a real revolution.
Lucky you apologised, cos you sure picked up the wrong end of this stick, Brother.
now, 'toke?

Not sure what you're going on about though?
I'm not talking about wars over seas against hostile people. I'm talking wars against farmers.
Did you guys really go all out for that?

So are you talking about Thaksin's "War on drugs" or the war against the CPT in the 70s or the ongoing war against peasants in Thailand?ItWasntMe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:05 pmIt's all good if you can't figure it outJohn Bingham wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:02 pmHi, I'm a bit monged out right now but who are "the people on who you declared war",?
