Irish Tourist Says He was Sent to 'Covid Camp' in Cambodia After False Positive Test Result

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

An Irish tourist, Karl Mohan, has shared his story on social media about how he was put in what he calls 'Covid Camp' after having a false positive test result.

He had to have two negative PCR test results before he was allowed to leave, and he also gave a signed statement that he would delete all his posts about this and not post again. At one point he escaped the 'Covid Camp' to go back to his hotel, and when he got there police were waiting for him and made him return back in an ambulance.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

This came out a few days ago and yesterday the policy changed to allow those with Omicron to be treated in their own homes.

Hmm...

This approach to handling Covid strikes me as having some parallels with how the world historically dealt with Leprosy (and other ailments carrying some form of stigma, like TB).

Fear!

That's what I was thinking too, no blankets, pillows, nothing! seems very new and clean for a place full of Khmers sleeping.

On another forum he said he didn't want to take pics of the locals there out of privacy and respect.
