Husband, Sick of Cheating Wife, Files Police Complaint for Adultery
Cambodia News (Kandal Province): On January 16, 2022, in Takhmao city, the police detained a 43-year-old woman, Soun Pov, and a 40-year-old man, Um Punlork in accordance with a police report filed by the woman's husband accusing them of adultery.
The husband claimed that his wife often sneaked out at night to have intercourse with Um Punlork at the mango farm, and he could not take it any longer so he filed a complaint.
The two suspects were held in custody for further investigation.

Interesting. Anyone know what the penalty is?
Didn’t realise there were countries outside the Muslim world that criminalised adultery.
I’m given to understand that in Japan you can sue your spouse’s lover for homewrecking and get a big payout, but it’s still a civil rather than criminal matter there.

Is this just a law for locals?
So far, I've not heard of a single case of a foreign husband successfully filing such a case against a local wife. Or even of such a case resulting in a conviction with jail time.
I'm guessing this will be filed under nuisance and domestic disputes and they arrested these two horny bunnies just to appease the husband and perhaps to prevent the husband from exercising cowboy justice.
