Chinese Driver Causes Accident, Flips Out, Goes Full Baseball Bat
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 18, 2022, on Preah Monivong Blvd., Sangkat Boeung Keng Kong 1, Khan Boeung Keng Kong, a minor car crash occurred between a Toyota Prius (PNH 2AO-1281) driven by a couple, and a BMW (PNH 2X-5848) driven by a Chinese man.
The Toyota Prius was pulling in to the roadside to buy some street food when it was bumped by the BWM from behind. After the crash, the couple went to talk to the Chinese driver and asked him for 200USD to fix the damaged rear bumper of the Prius.
However, the Chinese driver refused to talk to the couple and just went into his car without saying a word, and pulled out a baseball bat to attack the couple. Luckily, the bystanders stepped in to help restrain the Chinese man, and detained him until the police arrived and took him away.

As you do.
Is it me or there is now more accidents involving big cars caused by the northern "guests" than the locals, lately ?

Not sure. It could be that car accidents caused by foreign guests to Cambodia are reported more often because they are considered more "newsworthy", but it seems that accidents involving foreigners in flash cars are becoming the "new normal", as they say.Ghostwriter wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 4:39 am As you do.

For example, last weekend two Chinese nationals crashed a Ferrari into a lamp-post on Sihanoukville's main drag in broad daylight. Nobody was killed and presumably the victims paid appropriate compensation without incident.
Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On the afternoon of January 15, 2022, along Ekareach Road, near Boeung Teuk Sap bridge, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, there was a crash involving a Ferrari (PNH 2BK-5555), carrying two unidentified Chinese nationals.
Witnesses say that the car was driven very fast and lost control at the curve of the street and crashed into a stationed motorbike injuring two people before hitting a street light and coming to an abrupt halt.
The two victims were admitted to the hospital, and the damaged vehicles and the suspects were taken to the police station for further proceedings.

All these nice cars crashed with a lucky number plate, should make the fancy plate number market to collapse, but i guess rationality doesn't have it's word in this world anymore...

Wonder if there are many successful vehicle insurance claims with these luxury car crashes?
Cant imagine it being easy to get insurers in Cambodia to pay for stupidity like they do in the west...

Reminds me of that movie Warrier's, guys attacked with a baseball bat, I'm going to turn you into a popsicle.
What is it with these Chinese do they watch to many movies and think they are real?

I'm standing up, so I must be straight.
