Sinovac side effects
Re: Sinovac side effects
Somehow you post popped the idea in my head that if they'd listed 12 side effect for Astrazeneca maybe you'd gotten all 12 one day later.rubberbaron wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:51 pm
Same here; they list 7 side effects for astrazeneca and I got all 7 one day later. Terrible. Now my wife doesn't want to get her 3rd shot. In PP you now need 3 shots to be let into stores, restaurants, etc. Pfizer is reported to have the same side effects.
Don't worry about the booster checks. I haven't experienced any. The novelty of vaccine-card checking has worn of rather quickly and there are quite some problems with vaccination cards. Some people lost their cards (good luck getting a replacement...), some are still waiting for their cards (the just have the paper), cards have become barely readable... To name a few.

Never been asked for a vaccine card myself and actually stopped carrying it as a result, and also for fear it would get lostKammekor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 4:53 pmI went to Aeon last week and didn't bring my card from the province. Have a photo from my card from last August in my phone (the blue hand written version) and she didn't even look at it. The booster isn't on it.John Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 2:01 pmThat's what they said but I have only been asked once when I went to Aeon.rubberbaron wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:51 pm In PP you now need 3 shots to be let into stores, restaurants, etc.
Makro didn't bother to ask at all, so did Aeon 2 today.
I think it's soon to be forgotten about tbh, except for flying

That's why I don't carry it around, just like my passport.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:27 pm

Has expected I was asked for my driving licence and passport by the insurance company the other day, but not my vaccine card. But I was asked to sign in by scanning with my phone, something I have haven't done, nor did then.Kammekor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 6:05 pmThat's why I don't carry it around, just like my passport.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:27 pm

Nocebo is very real, and the symptoms it can generate are real measurable symptoms. It’s also super common; most studies I’ve heard about report anything from 20%-70% of participants reporting symptoms from a placebo intervention. The more theatrical and heavy the intervention the higher the effect, too - so if you’ve been approaching the jab with trepidation and reluctance expecting side effects then the chances of you getting them are higher.Kammekor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 4:57 pmSomehow you post popped the idea in my head that if they'd listed 12 side effect for Astrazeneca maybe you'd gotten all 12 one day later.rubberbaron wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:51 pm

He’s just saying you need the booster to protect from the new Omicron variant. I don’t like that link, no, because its headline and caption are dishonestly isolating one sentence from its surrounding context to imply something that isn’t true.

This maybe a little bit off thread, but what of those numbers who are unable to be vaccinated. I am not talking about the anti vaxxers, but the ones that have general illness and cannot be vaxed. I have read that they need a letter from a doctor, but I don't know of this either, all I know is that a doctor will say "no in the person's condition they can't be vaccinated". But I know our doctor would not put in writing.

If it’s genuinely the case that it’s not safe to get the vaccine and doctor isn’t willing to confirm that, then it sounds like you need another doctor.AndyKK wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 7:15 pm This maybe a little bit off thread, but what of those numbers who are unable to be vaccinated. To get such a letter I believe you need to have had a demonstrated adverse reaction to a previous vaccine or similar.AndyKK wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 7:15 pm This maybe a little bit off thread, but what of those numbers who are unable to be vaccinated.
