That pretty much sums up the state of affairs:

Djokovic is a lying asshole, "falling over his own lies" :D

the authorities screwed this up from the start; (they still have a chance of redemption)

He will get away with it... (maybe)

Those hot mic episodes always seems to reveal the truth 'behind the curtain'

Oh dear, now the Spaniards are investigating him.. (my bolding)

Spanish inquisition: Djokovic’s travels before Australia under fresh investigation

Novak Djokovic’s entry into Spain days before arriving in Melbourne is now being investigated by the Spanish government, according to a local media report, with the Australian government poised to announce its own decision on the tennis champion’s Australian visa on Thursday afternoon.

The world No.1 travelled to Spain in late December to train before the Australian Open. Since September 20, Serbian citizens have been required to present a vaccine certificate or medical exemption to enter Spain.

Local media outlet COPE said Spanish authorities were now investigating whether he requested special permission to go to Spain, given he was training and may not have been involved in “necessary work” or “high-level sporting events”, which are considered valid reasons for entry under Spanish law.

“The Ministry of the Interior has confirmed that they have also asked the Police [about Djokovic’s entry to Spain], while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has done the same,” COPE reported.

Who would choose to leak that? Hope they find them and sack them.

Having said that (and meant that) - interesting anyway
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Channel Seven FINDS the culprit of Rebecca Maddern hot mic leak - and it's NOT a disgruntled staff member at the TV station

A captioning service is believed to be responsible for leaking off-air footage of Channel Seven newsreader Rebecca Maddern slamming Novak Djokovic in an expletive-filled rant, network sources claim.

Sources close to the network's 'witch hunt' revealed the next day that Seven bosses had ruled out a disgruntled employee for the leaked recording and had narrowed their search to a private 'playlist company' with access to the nightly news feed.

It's understood a separate internal investigation by Ai-Media, which provide captions for the hearing-impaired, is also now underway.

Ai-Media boss Tony Abrahams is believed to be leading the investigation through staff interviews and extensive IT network tracing to track down who leaked the recording.

Govt is still consulting focus groups to ascertain which moves does them the least political damage.

EXACTly, Tim.
It actually nails marketingman Morrison's government precisely.

Spineless. Directionless. Valuesless. Policiesless. Just surfing the polls and the NewsCorp/murdoch opinion jocks.
and not one sentence uttered that does not mean anything you want it to next week - depending on what the market research says first.

This may be a rant, but it is also the conclusion of the best recent biographer of Morrison as PM - and i suspect, increasing the conclusion of most australians.
