I didn't know I was so poor

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

@AndyKK - First of all, your girlfriend's situation is terrible and frustrating and you have my sympathy. You probably know this, but often the private doctors and clinics pump up their bills with over-priced medecines.
The health care for the average person in Cambodia is shameful, however, you are in the best place in Cambodia (ie. PP) to receive treatment.

Do you know this place ?
Sihanouk hospital center of hope

Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE's mission is to provide for the further education and training of medical professionals while delivering free, 24 hour high-quality medical care to the poor and disadvantaged of Cambodia.
A doctor from that hospital was quoted in this article on Cambodia's cancer crisis. (I don't know it personally). Article is worth the read for everyone living in Cambodia, or who are interested in the reality of the health care available here.

Thank you "Anchor Moy". I do indeed know this place, and they know our situation, my last message from them is the hospital is not open for in-patient treatment.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
