The train did not divert to avoid collision.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Hit and run.
Failing to stop after an accident
Probably speeding and under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

What are the [ rail ] road rules for these train ee drivers and do they even have a drivers licence.

They couldn’t find it?
Couldn’t identify it?
Driver ran away?

Driver should have stopped, or taken a step sideways to avoid

We should be thankful that of all the sleepers on the rail track that were run over, not one was injured.

That’s made me think-
Given the proximity of unguarded rail lines and people, the poor driving standard as a whole, and then looking at all the other Darwin Award efforts (electrocutions and fires) it’s a little surprising that this doesn’t happen more.
