Re: Future of Pattaya?
I was always happy that Pattaya existed and would act as a magnet for all those (stereotype) elderly sextourists...less of them on the other islands. I can understand that Pattaya is of great fun if you intend to have a stereotype holiday in Thailand. Fortunately Thailand has to offer many different setting to spend my holiday. What I cant understand is that people fly around the world to hang out on a beach with filthy seawater. So i guess if you take away the flesh trade from Pattaya, tourism would collapse.

Is that raw sewage (doubtful) or treated waste water from that building, which looks like a sewage works, in which case the dramatic picture isn’t telling us the true story.truffledog wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 12:28 am I was always happy that Pattaya existed and would act as a magnet for all those (stereotype) elderly sextourists...less of them on the other islands. All countries dump treated waste water into the sea/rivers, even Sweden!

When I was last there I only went to walking street once & had a good night, held the balloon as it was pierced by a dart shot by an extremely beautiful & impressive woman Been there done that! What I liked about Pattaya was that you had the option! It was a draw card & not just for "stereo typical sex tourists" Glad I seen it in it's glory, shame that it maybe gone!
