Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): Under the command of Police Chief Chuon Narin, police in Sihanouk province arrested two Chinese men in connection with attempted murder, possession of illegal weapons and attempted kidnapping on December 24, 2021.

The two Chinese suspects, 1-male JIANG FENG, 2-male BAO JIE, arranged a meeting with the manager of the Golden Sands Hotel and Casino, in front of the Golden Sands Hotel and Casino in Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanouk City, Preah Sihanouk Province, on the pretext that they were looking for a job. But the two suspect grabbed and threatened the casino manager, with the intention of extorting money for his release.

The suspect named JIANG FENG held a gun to the victim's stomach, while the other suspect named BAO JIE caught the victim by the neck. The casino security guards, who saw what was happening, then moved to intervene to release their boss. JIANG FENG then fired his gun at one of the Chinese security guards, injuring him in the abdomen. The two suspects then released their victim and fled the scene.

However, after investigation, the Sihanoukville police forces tracked down both suspects and took them into custody, charging them with attempted murder, kidnapping, extortion, and use of illegal weapons.
