Bikes on buses
Is it still possible to take a motorbike on a bus? I am thinking of Siem Reap to PP, it's a Phantom TA200, so not a scooter. I want to go to Kampot but would rather not have to sit on my bike the whole way.

You don't know me. Maybe I am already not the same. But thanks for the inane reply, no offense. Hopefully there is someone out there who can actually give me a sensible answer.

Sorry it's just the time of day. I do see more large buses showing up in Kampot so I would think you're good putting it on the back.
But someone with actual experience will obviously be able to make you less concerned

I'd go a bit further and say it's a shame the train is totally fucking useless.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Well, I would have to agree in regards that it doesn't go to and from Siem Reap, the city with Cambodia's largest attraction on its doorstep, being Angkor Wat the magnet that draws most tourists who visit the Kingdom.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 9:55 pmI'd go a bit further and say it's a shame the train is totally fucking useless.
It seems like the proposed new lines that will be contacting Siam Reap with Phnom Penh, and also the countries of Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, the latter being that would be the first line to be built forming part of the Pan Asian Railway Network, and China being sponsor of the proposed new lines.
But it does run from Battambang to Phnom Penh and then Phnom Penh to Kampot. Aircon and probably the safer way to travel.

Re: Bikes on buses
Rith Mony used to run a bus that carried bikes. Not sure if they still around.
