Free Assange
Because the States are saying regardless of your citizenship, or where you live - even if you have never been to U.S. - or where you sing it from, it is illegal to truthfully talk about American atrocities. And anyone with any parts that resemble mettle, should do what they can, because his own, Australia, is too weak to look after its own.

I joined in the protests about Dmitri Skalarov, and he didn't even piss off the US State Dept, he just hurt Adobe's image as a secure system (they rotated letters and claimed it was miliatry grade encryption). A few years later they finally let him go home, over COPYRIGHT law. Of course, Adobe executives weren't arrested, but they should have been.

"in a country that required condoms for everyone who had sex but wasn't married." Can't be arsed to look it up. Is this actually true? Seems a joke if it is.

By those standards, I think a lot of us would qualify as rapists.RorschachRev wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 11:28 pmThe "rape" charge was actually having sex without a condom, in a country that required condoms for everyone who had sex but wasn't married.
I do not want to triviliaze sexual assault, but those charges seem fishy to me and look an excuse to go after a dissident who tweaked the wrong noses.
I wish Assange the best of luck!

The story goes she wanted to use a condom but he went on without one and thus the rape charge.

Yes, the criminal offense is that the condom Assange used was intentionally torn. That is the "rape" charge, disputed, without full share of evidence. She was called a honeytrap because it completely looks like a setup full of crap.johnny lightning wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:02 am "in a country that required condoms for everyone who had sex but wasn't married." She let him sleep in her bed for nearly a week after, and she never mentioned a torn condom to him during that time.
