Woman Drives into Car Dealership at Midnight (Literally)

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh) On 4 December 2021, an accident happened at 12 midnight along Street 2004 in Sangkat Obek Kam, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, when a woman drove a Toyota Prius at a careless speed while overtaking a motorbike, then crossed the road and rammed into a garage, causing damage to 5 fences, 3 cars and 1 motorbike.
Sources from the people at the scene said that they seen a woman driving a silver car with license plate Phnom Penh 2BA-5467 driving along the road 2004 eastwards at a high speed. When arriving at the right turning to Duong Ngiep Road, she overtook a Dream motorbike, crossed the road, and drove directly into a car dealership garage causing damage to 5 fences.

Local authorities arrived and contacted the city traffic department to provide a crane, and a truck to retrieve the motorbike and the woman's car, which will be stored at the office of the land traffic commissioner of the Phnom Penh Police for further processing.
