Chatter: Biden May Nominate Kamala Harris to Supreme Court

Post by paul2d »

Kamala Harris is so unloved that the Democrats want to get her off the ticket before the next election. But, what can they do with her? The rumor mill suggests that Biden may nominate her to the Supreme Court: https://www.wcnc.com/article/news/verif ... 21b24709ab

Apparently, its possible.

This is clearly much more fun than the Covid Variations.

She is a qualified lawyer and effective prosecutor who put thousands of black people in jail for minor offences such as possession of weed.

A very low bar to pass for such a high position.
It seems most office holders in past decades have been elected for who they are not.

This rumor sounds not so credible.

How can it be an impartial court deciding matters of great weight on their merit according to the law - when nowadays it is comprised of people selected specifically for their particular partisan views?

How can you have any confidence in the impartiality of the decisions that come out of that?
It's more like a lottery that is decided by what judges have died when who was President.
