The victim of the trade said that he bought a white 2008 Land Cruiser, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BB-6417, through his personal secretary. However, he did not know that the car did not belong to the seller, but was rented from another owner in Phnom Penh and sold on to him. After bargaining, he agreed to buy the vehicle for $ 54,000 on 8 November 2021.

However, the owner of the car searched for his car after the perpetrator did not pay rent for several months, and when he discovered that his car had been sold illegally, he sued the seller, Mr Liu Xin.
