Mode Store Raided After Customers Complain of Counterfeits
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On 3 November 2021, authorities of the Anti-Counterfeit Products Committee (CPPCC), raided Mode Store located at 14BC, Street 337, Sangkat Boeung Kak 1, Khan Toul Kork, after receiving complaints from people that they were tricked into buying counterfeit products from the store.
According to several sources, the crackdown operation was led by Deputy Prosecutor Jesong CPPCC with the participation of relevant local authorities including district officials. Various items were confiscated as evidence including bags, watches, cosmetics, glasses, and many other suspected counterfeit products.
The owner of the shop, Mrs. Kheng Pito Puth Thida, was arrested and taken to the Phnom Penh Police department for further legal action. However, according to the latest information from the authorities, after submitting the case to court, the court allowed the owner to return home.

She looks like one of those unbearable women who make shouty Facebook videos.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Yes, she's selling counterfeit products at counterfeit prices. If brand name products are much cheaper then they should be, then there's a reason.
I bought a Rolex watch once for $10. (For a joke). What ! It was actually a fake Rolex. So disappointed.

Why do I get the feeling she's somehow managed to upset the wrong person? Cambodia is awash with counterfeit goods, as most countries are. As mentioned above, the clue is in the price. If you're selling counterfeit goods at counterfeit prices, no big deal. It's only a bigger deal if they're being sold at genuine prices.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

Fakes are sold literally everywhere so why dont the police shut it all down if they cared? Dont you think there is more to it? Someone might want to se her suffer. Something anyone can make happen by filing a complaint with some extra cash in hand. Even if its not true her reputation will be smeared.
You guys who made comments above are not very smart. You been on your 1 dollar whiskey way to long.
She is actually very nice but who cares about knowing something before speaking, right?
Then a (probably) false lawsuit on top of that.

She only started doing the videos when lockdown struck, staff had to get laid of and sales had to be done online. Not shouty at all.John Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 8:04 pm She looks like one of those unbearable women who make shouty Facebook videos.

Probably somewhere in between although it's hard to tell with backwards writing etc.
WTF is $1 whiskey? I don't drink any kind of whiskey $1 or $100.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

According to these photos she is not selling at counterfeit prices at all! The Jean Paul Gaultier parfume sells at Amazon for $86. A discount of only $11 would be great for an original product but a total rip off for a fake product. Price for a counterfeit product should not exceed $10-$20Anchor Moy wrote:Yes, she's selling counterfeit products at counterfeit prices. You sound like you're currently banging her. Well, be advised that she is selling apparent fake goods at nearly full retail prices, so watch your wallet while being with this "lovely" ladyAlbror wrote:Fakes are sold literally everywhere so why dont the police shut it all down if they cared?
