Hotel

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

then they changed their name when they installed an elevator and made more smaller rooms out of the huge rooms they had.
then another "tourist" had problems and they changed to what it is now

still a good deal but the keys are shit
The elevator has been there since it was called 'Hometown Suite hotel.

The keys are indeed shit but a lot of rooms have in room safes and downstairs they have an impressive safe if needed.

It is a good deal.

After quite a few 'incidents' with foreign guests they changed their name to Best Central Point hotel.

Decent rooms, bit worn out, but value for money indeed. It's one of my frequent places when staying in PP.
I'm pretty certain that they are two different properties one being much nicer than the other.

Nearly next door is the former Silver River hotel. Nicer rooms, but much more expensive and the rooms are very, very small with relatively small beds (1.6m if I recall well)
