This is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about - the story, while awful, is completely fucking irrelevant unless his contention was that the offenders in question were doing it as part of official UN policy. Which they obviously weren’t. You think there’s no rapists in the US Army?

But what is obvious is Elon already had that article ready to post from the get go in case it suddenly looked as though he might actually have to give them a single penny.

His tweet is also not how someone genuinely sincere about stopping sexual assault would approach the conversation either - so not only is he not honest about wanting to end hunger, he isn’t honest about stopping rape either.
The guy’s a posturing publicity-hungry bellend who never had any intention of making good on his offer.

I think Mr. Elon Musk is great!
He calls people out, knows a tweet can fk with the system, makes his point and goes about his day.. He's a bright guy.
