Burmese man ground up like dog food

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Burmese man killed as he falls into meat grinder in Chonburi City Pet Food Factory
28 April
Police and medics based in Chonburi City, 50kms outside of Pattaya, attended a gruesome industrial accident on Monday Night which saw a Burmese Factory Worker pulled through a meat grinder.

The accident occurred at the Pet Smart Company who specialize in producing Pet Food and Treats and resulted in the death of Mr. Sor aged 37 who had worked for the company for 5 years and was described by work colleagues as a good worker who did not smoke or drink.

He was in the process of grinding meat products used to produce Chew Bars for Dogs when he fell into the machine. Police are unsure why he ended up in the machine and will wait for the results of a post-mortem examination which should indicate if a medical issue may have caused him to be rendered unconscious which then saw him collapse into the machine, a cause of death which is suspected of being the reason behind the tragic accident.

How ironic, a man from a country that eats dog ends up as part of a batch of dog food.

Karma is funny sometimes.

Yeah, or maybe he was a vegetarian...
and probably a poor migrant doing a shit job for peanuts with no safety precautions and no life insurance for his family.
That means he was a bastard in his last life, right ? :(

God do you have a sense of humor or do you have to be serious 100% of the time.

You must be a bloody hoot at parties and social gatherings.

Jesus... Don't they have a big grate or something which prevents whole bodies from falling in? Seems unbelievable that this could happen. Straight out of a Batman/Bond movie. RIP poor fella.
