You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Red list countries and territories
Travel to England testing and quarantine rules
Stay up to date

What you need to do when you travel to England depends on whether you qualify as fully vaccinated or not.

To qualify under the fully vaccinated rules for travel to England, you must have been fully vaccinated with a full course of an approved vaccine under:

the UK or UK overseas vaccination programme
the United Nations vaccine programme for staff and volunteers
an approved programme in one of the countries or territories listed below

You can still travel to England if you do not qualify as fully vaccinated but you must follow different rules.

There are also different rules if you have been in a red list country or territory in the last 10 days and you may not be allowed to enter England.
Approved vaccines

You must have had a complete course of one of the following vaccines at least 14 days before you arrive in England:

Oxford/AstraZeneca
Pfizer BioNTech
Moderna
Janssen

The day you have your final dose does not count as one of the 14 days.

Formulations of these vaccines, such as AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria and Moderna Takeda, also qualify as approved vaccines.

Weird that they don’t accept WHO approved vaccines. There’s a big difference between approving vaccines to give to your own people vs vaccines you’ll accept people entering with.

Good to see that they have added Cambodia to the list now (but only for approved vaccines)

Does anyone know of the blue vaccine card is enough proof of vaccination?

Probably. The blue cards do not have your date of birth on it. However, it does have your passport number which is a far better link to you when at the UK Border. I suspect that will suffice.

But, unless you have been lucky enough to have had western vaccines, all the card will prove is that you are considered unvaccinated.

Vaccine certificates only
If the table below says you can use a ‘Vaccine certificate’ as proof of vaccination, the following rules apply. The vaccine certificate must be issued by a national or state-level public health authority, be in English, French or Spanish, and include as a minimum:

your forename and surname(s)
your date of birth
vaccine brand and manufacturer
date of vaccination for every dose
country or territory of vaccination and/or certificate issuer

Moderna
Janssen
and from 4am 22 November, World Health Organization’s Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines:

I am missing a decent ale or a pint of Guinness. But not that much.
Meum est propositum in taberna mori,
ut sint Guinness proxima morientis ori.

"Sit Deus propitius huic potatori."

Draught Guinness* available at Harry's.

No need to go back to Blighty for it unless you want to be served by fat ugly women with a bad attitude after waiting 5 minutes to get served.

So am I on the understanding that on the 22nd that I will be excepted with having been vaccinated by Chinese vaccines. It's just has well, and more too the point are they excepting a shown vaccine card with 1st 2nd and booster entrys, or the booster being one of those first recommended vaccines on the list.
How many of you who had the Chinese vaccine had a booster of AZ?
I took the other option of starting over the vaccinations.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

For what it’s worth I’ve entered the UK 4 times in the past few months and the lines at immigration have been as normal. I don’t fly into Heathrow specifically though so don’t know what it’s like there.

I think you need to change the pubs you go into in the UK, and go to ones with young attractive barmaids instead :)
