Having watched a documentary or two about this phenomena in Japan I'm no stranger to the concept, bit surprised to see it here though.

Personally don't think I would use such a service but we're all different, I'm sure there are plenty people that could really benefit from that type of human interaction and it's all innocent to begin with so I fail to see any issue with it. That being said I find it a little funny I guess imagining all the odd situations that could occur.

I got to know a guy quite well in Lake Toba one year who was on a break/visa run from India. He was a good looking wiry fellow of about forty who wore robes, had a sun tanned shaved head, calm peaceful way about him at first glance - looked like a more attractive version of Ben Kingsley if he were given to spiritual unification, peace, love and all that stuff. He openly admitted his appearance was nothing more than a ruse to shag western women as they passed through Mcleod Ganj or Rishikesh on their quest for spiritual enlightenment.

Careful out there, mmkay?

As well as cuddling, they’re offering additional services for the lonely man who’s missing having a lady in his life.
For a fee, one of their ‘operatives’ will:-

Take your keys and wallet from where you always lay them, move them to some other random place where it takes you ages to find them, then deny outright having done so.

Scream “what fucking time do you call this to come home you cunt”

Rifle through your trouser pockets while you sleep, looking for evidence of infidelity while simultaneously helping themselves to a hefty percentage of the cash in said pockets.

Accuse you of stinking of drink and/or another woman’s perfume, while shouting “make your own dinner you bastard”
😉

I'd sure hope so!

I you're paying for a hug you want big moma not some scrawny lady poking you with her bones.

Maybe we could sponsor Aaron to try this in one of his adventure videos?
I think a professional review of this service is needed.

But why Cambodia?

It’s like Hooters in Phnom Penh or Phuket trying to outcompete with the girly bars, KTV girls, and taxi girls.

There are plenty of professional Khmer girls (and guys) willing to hug (and more) in a non-sexual (or sexual) way for an hour or however long desired. Even all night, too. Or a week or a month straight.

What’s so special about the Denizens of Kampot that makes their one hour hug so much more valuable than anything else?

Please enlighten me.

I just don’t understand.
