Cambodia News, (Siem Reap) : On Saturday, October 2, 2021, a fire broke out in the house of a villager in Khvav village, Chi Kreng district, in Siem Reap province. The owner of the house is Born Hing, male, 52 years old, living in the village-commune where the incident took place.
Damaged property includes:
- Khmer money in the amount of 2,000,000 Riels
- 2 platinum bracelets worth 1,000,000 Riels
- 1 iPhone
- 2 motorcycles, Honda Dream C125
- 1 bicycle
- Wooden box, 4 boxes and other materials
Police forces dispatched fire trucks from the Chi Kreng District Police Inspectorate to intervene, using 3 water trucks, so fortunately the fire did not spread to the houses of the people living next door.
The fire is believed to have been started by an electrical short-circuit at the property.
