But it's been tried already and it has failed.
And so many "pure" live music bars have failed over the years - Memphis, Bona's, Jazz Club, that one on 172 opposite Shanghai, the big one in BKK1. And most of them paid lower rent.
If this was a Western country, there would be a sizeable admission fee at the door and enough people would happily pay it. In Phnom Penh, they won't.
Look on the bright side Roz, you are being subsidised by the lady-drink buyers every time you go to Oscar's. You have saved thousands of $ in entry fees by now.
