Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 8:00 am on October 14, 2021, at the corner of Russian Federation Blvd. and Phnom Penh Hanoi street in Sangkat Teuk Thla, Khan Sen Sok, a homeless and drug addicted man jumped off the Phsar Dei Huy flyover bridge to commit suicide, but miraculously, he survived the fall. According to eyewitnesses, the victim was seen walking on the flyover bridge before he jumped off, and landed on his back, and was not able to move for an hour until the ambulance arrived. They also claimed that the victim is a Vietnamese man who has been sleeping at the Preah Puth pagoda, and that he had already attempted suicide earlier that morning, but was stopped by local people.

According to the police, the victim was possibly suffering from hallucinations caused by drugs.

Concussion. He'll feel that in the morning.

Not bad.

A paramedic working in London told BBC News he had encountered patients left waiting up to 12 hours for an ambulance in the last week.

One patient in London with a broken leg had to wait outside at night for six hours before an ambulance arrived to collect him, he said.

On another occasion, paramedics were called to attend to a young man with Covid-19 whose oxygen levels were "so low". He was given oxygen when they arrived - but that was eight hours after the ambulance was called.

But don't forget, "the NHS is the envy of the world" but it's also "near collapse" and "on it's knees", all at the same time. Funny that.
