Yobbo, I take it from your own admission that you're a proud gun owner and that's the only thing you have to be proud of? :sign17:

I think that guns have very little purpose within a civilized society.

Yobbo once the world becomes "a civilized society" that may be true but until then guns will remain part of a person's rights to self defense. As soon as it's figured out how to disarm the criminals, tyrannical govts and people willing to harm others it'll have to remain the way it is. Let me know when you've come up with the solution!

BTW, you seem to have an obsession with [Admin Edit: No need for personal insults, thanks. Take a day off.]

Also would you happen to be from Australia where you willingly gave up yours and are now suffering the consequences from an overbearing govt and a police force that's taken on the guise of the Gestapo and are now defenseless under the authority of keeping you safe?

You need weapons to maintain and defend a civilized society.

That well regulated militia wouldn’t be a bad thing.

RE: The cartoon above
Rifles are quite rare as murder weapons.
Some stats below. Note that bows are even less common.

Instead of outlawing arms and insinuating that the good people who bear them are potential criminals, converting to Islam should be outlawed. Every single Western convert to Islam is nuts, dangerous, or both.

Sad update to this story. I am fond of Scandi paganism. Quite a loss.

I think many would find that offensive including Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) but you'll say it's a joke or a metaphor right?
