New Normal for Restaurants - SOP's

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Possibly a dumb question, but if 99% of adults, and the majority of minors vaccinated, what is the point of requiring showing your vaccination card?

Dunno but I was at Burger King in Aeon 1 and even though they’ve got stickers on the table about vaccine requirements I was not asked. Nor anywhere else.

guideline 39 has been like the golden rule for restaurants/kitchens since time immemorial.
(Keepin' raw stuff apart from ready-to-serve).
Bloody ell, have some of 'em only started applyin' this rule now? :voilent4: :2girlsit8:

Or will it be less hassle to just get another vaccine?
If they don't accept your UK proof you can easily convert it to acceptable one by wrapping it in a 5000 Riel note.

What proof of vaccination do you have in the UK at the moment? Credit card type thingy?

Whoever taught them this phrase deserves to be shot. Do oxymorons even exist in the Khmer language? Are they aware that the phrase is a tongue in cheek phrase that shouldn't be taken seriously.

To pressure the remaining 1% to get vaccinated.
To protect responsible people from those who don't value public health.

Exactly. Wether the whole Covid thing is a big scam/conspiracy or the vaccine doesn’t work or you don’t agree with it has no bearing on getting the country back to “normal”, especially if you’re a guest.

Get jabbed. Simple.

Why would someone vaccinated still worry about others so much?

They don't care about themselves, but about the health of society in general. It's a heroic sort of vibe.

We all need to get the jab to keep critical care emergency preparedness ready for other possible threats to humanity.
