Photographer Claims Online Photo Theft Scam
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): According to a Facebook post by La Mo, a professional photographer was the victim of an online theft, on November 8, 2020, at 4:38 pm, committed by Sivuthy Saing (FB account).
The suspect personally contacted the victim to buy his creative photographs at a resort in Kampot. After the victim transferred 83 HDR photographs, he sent a bill to the suspect, but the suspect disappeared from Telegram and has never picked up the phone calls from the victim.
Now, 10 months later, the victim's friend noticed his friend's photographs were being posted on Facebook. The suspect has not been tracked down and arrested yet, but the victim demands an explanation from Sivuthy Saing.
