Re: "Tax The Rich Dress" – Ultimate Fashion Statement Or Display Of Hypocrisy
I don’t understand how saying “tax the rich” whilst being rich is hypocritical at all. She isn’t saying you can’t *be* rich, just that you should pay tax if you are.
Reminds me of that old Russel Brand quote: “When I was poor and complained about inequality they said I was bitter; now that I'm rich and I complain about inequality they say I'm a hypocrite. I'm beginning to think they just don't want to talk about inequality.”

Conservatives are pretending she paid for her ticket so they can demonstrate it as hypocrisy. And isn’t going to a party full of rich people and saying she wants to tax rich people a positive thing, as opposed to pandering to the attendees? It’s achieving the goal of bringing attention, and she can thank those that are crying about it for their contribution to the cause. Keep crying and keep getting her message out.

Slightly off topic and not visible in these photos but many others I have seen make it apparent she has a great rack. Just sayin.

I don't know. The ability to trigger the rage machine and get the conversation on a topic you want to discuss seems like a sufficient amount of power.Big Daikon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 5:45 amThat may be her role. Trump's role was to troll the Liberals, while AOC triggers Conservatives.
In terms of actual power, she is rather low on the ladder.
"Tax the Rich" is probably trending as a google search and it's clearly making the news.

That was going to happen anyway. Gerrymandering and safe districts keep it that way for politicians across the country. It's what happens when politicians pick constituents vs the other way around.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 1:00 pmIf nothing else; she's definitely gonna be reelected a few more times anyhowApollo91881 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 12:52 pmI don't know.
