Black Label, cheapest shop

Post by Pizzalover »

I am going to visit a friend and he wanted something typical Cambodian. His suggestion was 3 litres of J.W. Black Label.

Lucky is at 31.50 USD. Any cheaper places around?

His liver will be every grateful

Three litres! Thats a whole lot of whiskey! Is that the price/litre? I think I pay around $23 for a 700 or 750 ml bottle at Thai Huat. Lucky drink shop is supposed to be the cheapest I think.

Supercheap on 360. There's also a shop on Monivong, either near Charles de Gaulle or Russian Boul. Maybe someone knows the exact location, but either place will be much cheaper than Lucky.

Is this friend Khmer? ("typical Cambodian?") Frankly, if he's asking for 3 L of Black as a gift, well, that's just bloody greedy. Then you have to ask yourself, is he really your friend? If barang, the same applies.
