Phnom Penh: On the morning of September 3, 2021, the former director of the Anti-Drug Office of the Takeo Provincial Gendarmerie, Mr. Chhun Somethea, was brought to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for trial in connection with nearly 2 kilograms of methamphetamine, wrapped as "Chinese tea".
The two accused are Mr. Chhun Somethea, and a woman named Ken Chanry, living in Ang Ta Kob village, Angkor Borei district, Takeo province.

It should be noted that during the hearing, the accused Chhun Somethea categorically denied that he had committed any of the alleged crimes. The defendant replied that he was a military officer in the anti-drug unit, so there was no reason for him to commit a drug offense. However, the woman admitted that the two were selling drugs.
After the hearing at 13 pm, the Judicial Council postponed until September 16, 2021 to announce the verdict.

No drug test to know if he partakes on his new activity ?

His name makes it a good house brand name for such a biz though...

"Would you like Somethea ? "
"Sure, a big bag, but not the local one please"
"On my way. Prepare the honey"

UPDATE
Couple Plead Not Guilty; Sentenced to 27 and 23 Years

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On October 22, 2021, the Phnom Penh Municipal Court sentenced a former deputy commander of Takeo province and his mistress to 27 and 23 years in prison for trafficking 2kg of drugs in June 2020. However, the defendants have now filed an appeal with the Supreme Court, declaring they are not guilty.

The convicted suspects are named as Chhun Somethea and Ken Chanry, and were arrested in Khan Steung Mean Chey on June 4, 2020, when police seized about 2kg of methamphetamine in Chinese tea packets, 2 handguns, and some other personal items.

On September 3, both prisoners denied the allegations of drug trafficking. Chhun Somethea claimed that the drugs were planted on the couple and stated that the Anti-drugs police who had arrested and interrogated them were asking a (large) bribe for their release.
Before the verdict of the court, the pair pleaded not guilty and urged the judge to investigate their claims and drop all charges against them. Their appeal will be heard by the Supreme Court.

His and Hers ?
Lol, so many questions.
Could this be a set-up by a dastardly rival in Takeo, or are they pleading innocence while they check out how much this is going to cost ?

Yes. The Beretta has a manual safety on the slide. Looks like it’s had plenty of use, or holster wear.

Glock looks pretty new.
