Cambodia News (Banteay Mean Chey Province): At 9:58 pm on August 26, 2021, a hit and run was reported to the local police in Poipet city, but when the police arrive at the crime scene they saw only the victim's belongings because the body had been removed.

According to the neighbors who reported to the police, they heard a loud crash noise in front of their house and went to check. They saw the mutilated body of a female victim on the road, who was later identified as Dol Kunthea, 31 years old. Then they went to get help from the police who were stationed at Nimeth Thmey School. When they returned 10 minutes later with the police officers, the body had disappeared from the crime scene.
After searching for the missing body, they later found the dead woman lying on the side of National Road 5 in front of O'chrov District Hall, O'chrov district.
The police have continued investigating and searching for the hit and run driver.
