Jet Flame lighters. Cheap ones

Post by Doc67 »

Anyone know a shop that sells them?

They were available for about 50c in a few places then they were not.

Free beer in Harry's for first good lead. (Promise)

They are all over, they don't last too long but it is way cooler to spark up by clicking vs wheel spinning like a troglodyte, try the little mart on St.178 on left just past the FCC and then RS mart up 100 meters on right past Golden Noura - the shop just past 118 heading up in numbers on Sisowath if its open also, I do believe the way cool marts on the last block of 136 to the river have them too, so St. 5/st 136 on the corner has them I think and the other local mart down the block squeezed into btwn two girlie bars. If you feel like going pro then its off to THE center of THE Central market to buy a cool lighter AND the fuel canister next to the numchucks, throwing stars and brass knuckles places. If you factor out the cool guy lighter (dah kay pr.? in Khmer) at, say $18 then fuel at $6 every 14 days you'd have an ROI at some point in your future..

Charming touch JB, guess you don't buy the troglodyte that I ain't bit then?
I hate spinning that wheel like Fred Flintstone down at the quarry, give me a click and I'm good plus they make darling little gifts to lovely ladies around your haunts and maybe I dab the concentrated ganja from time to time. From what others say, you can surely relate to dabs can't ya Bong?

Ha ha, I know that's what it looks like :D

It's for lighting a cigar that keeps going out and the overhead fans make the Bic lighters virtually useless.

They are actually not all over. The shops all around 136 haven't got any. They used to have them, but they are gone and until they sell all the crappy Bics they don't seem to be coming back.

I will have a wander along the Quay and 178 and see what they have.

Anyone who can point me to a shop that definitely does have them ,in stock today, Tuesday 24th August still gets the beer.

Can't guarantee stock, but I got mine from Navy on St 172, was thinking about getting another for the same reason (fans and bic lighters).

The shop hasn't been open to browse recently, but he still serves you through the door.

Edit: Pro tip, Navy also sells butane refill cans, and many of these jet style lighters are refillable

@Doc67, the local marts seem to carry them vs the branded marts like KIWI, PANDA or SMILE. I got one in BKK at the In and Out Mart at 51/294 but that little shop called the "U and I" mart on 178 next to The FCC always stocked them as did the bigger RS Mart up 178 before the statue shops. Round the corner and the last of that group of marts on St. 13 name is T mart I believe they have them.

If they fail to deliver, it's time to go to the center of Central Market.

I like the Harry''s food and the menu and the place in general but the one time I went in the gal doubled my bill and i was with a friend gabbing away and I had to pull a U turn after adding up my little lunch in my little head that was no way $27, more like $13 and change - i' ll have to wait the customary six months and keep flicking salt over my left shoulder, knock wood before I can go back for lucks sake.
