Expat Tony Dies at Larry's in Phnom Penh
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A foreign man went to eat at Larry's restaurant, along Street 110 at right angles to Street 5 in Sangkat Phsar Kandal I, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, on August 9, 2021, when he suddenly felt unwell and died on a chair.
The deceased man was identified only as Tony, over 60 years old.
According to sources from the scene, in the past, the foreign man came to eat in this restaurant every day, until this morning when he had an attack. Sitting down to eat at a table outside as usual, he was suddenly feeling unwell and called people to help him. Local people tried to help the man, but unfortunately he died at the scene. The people then called the local authorities.
The local authorities arrived, and they cordoned off the scene and contacted the Ministry of Health to conduct a Covid-19 check on the deceased, which was revealed to be negative.
The doctor who examined the body at the scene handed it over to the forensic section of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, before handing over the body to relatives for the traditional funeral ceremony.
RIP Tony.

RIP Tony. Used to work for PBH at Ezecom - ran the Sihanoukville office. His wife recently died also (like 8 weeks ago). Very sad. He will be missed.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 2:52 pm

You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

sad way to go, but at least it seems it was quick
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

RIP Tony.
He was a friend. I had not seen him since he left Snooky. He had Tonys bar on st 130, formerly Kim's Kiwi Bar, before he moved to Snooky.

That was on the west side of Norodom? I remember him well, nice chap.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

He was a pleasant guy to have a beer with, used to run into him frequently in Siem reap when sports bar was still open.
I used to stay in Tony's bar in 2008/2009 but an Australian guy took over (forgot his name). Always stayed in room 7, it had a bathtub).
Let's hope heaven is real and he made it there
