You can actually order McDonald's from Thailand delivered to Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

For example, you can pay $6.60 for an order of McDonald's fries, get them delivered to Cambodia, and then heat them up in a microwave.

Follow the link and grab the name of the writer. (From Kent if I recall correctly)
Google the name.
You will find an article online with a photo of that writer. Then you will understand why he wants McDonalds.

You mean that the writer's travel company specializes in tours of North Korea ?(No McDonalds there.)

That's how i have always felt anyway. really.
If you are in any country eating McDonald's that was cooked abroad you are fuct. That stuff only tastes good for about ten minutes before it turns into inedible crap.

I'll bite. They have one of the Scottish restaurants at the border? Microwaved re-heated fries? Eat mush much? Those MD ones probably turn to crunch sticks.

While importing McDonald's meals sounds like something only a crazy person would do, I did have a colleague once who was a bit weirder. On our first trip to Asia, she would only eat Twinkies. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, whatever the meal, she wouldn't touch anything local or anything not in a sealed plastic package. Twinkies fit the bill.
Due to her self-imposed restrictions (for her health, of course), she didn't last long in Asia and had to cut the trip short.
Still haven't figured out where she found so many Twinkies.

Wow awesome. Yes, they are very good. I get them when I am home in California all the time. Crazy that they opened in Cambodia (I even see they have a resto in PP). Their burgers are solid, but their fried green beans are amazing.

Habit Burger is good, I've never been in their restaurant but I've had them delivered quite a few times.
