You mean that the writer's travel company specializes in tours of North Korea ?(No McDonalds there.)Username Taken wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 6:19 pmFollow the link and grab the name of the writer. For example, you can pay $6.60 for an order of McDonald's fries, get them delivered to Cambodia, and then heat them up in a microwave.

Google the name.
You will find an article online with a photo of that writer. Then you will understand why he wants McDonalds.

If you are in any country eating McDonald's that was cooked abroad you are fuct. That stuff only tastes good for about ten minutes before it turns into inedible crap.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 4:46 pm If you are in Cambodia eating MacDonalds you are in America
If you are in Australia, Timbuktu or the North Pole eating MacDonalds you are in America.

I'll bite. They have one of the Scottish restaurants at the border? Microwaved re-heated fries? Eat mush much? Those MD ones probably turn to crunch sticks.

While importing McDonald's meals sounds like something only a crazy person would do, I did have a colleague once who was a bit weirder. On our first trip to Asia, she would only eat Twinkies. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, whatever the meal, she wouldn't touch anything local or anything not in a sealed plastic package. Twinkies fit the bill.
Due to her self-imposed restrictions (for her health, of course), she didn't last long in Asia and had to cut the trip short.
Still haven't figured out where she found so many Twinkies.

Wow awesome. Yes, they are very good. I get them when I am home in California all the time. Crazy that they opened in Cambodia (I even see they have a resto in PP). Their burgers are solid, but their fried green beans are amazing.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 8:29 am Drove from PP to kep yesterday, stopped at https://www.habitburger.com/

Habit Burger is good, I've never been in their restaurant but I've had them delivered quite a few times.
