Cambodia News,(Phnom Penh): Authorities chased two suspects on a motorcycle, after they attacked a man, trying to steal his cell phone, but failed in the attempt and then tried to escape.
This incident happened at 9:00 AM on August 6, 2021 near Choam Chao Market along Veng Sreng Street in Sangkat Choam Chao III, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh. Police arrested Hok Kimleang, male, 18 years old, unspecified occupation, living in Sangkat Toul Sangke 2, Khan Russey Keo.

According to sources at the scene, before the incident, a man (the victim) was seen riding a motorcycle traveling along Chom Chao Road in a north-south direction, when the two suspects came from behind on their motorbike and tried to snatch the phone, but did not succeed and tried to escape. The thieves then encountered a patrol force who chased them until they stopped their motorcycle on a concrete road in Khan Por Sen Chey, where one suspect was captured, while the other suspect escaped.
