Cambodia News (Thbong Khmom Province): On August 4, 2021, at 10:00 am in the Boeung Proul Health Center, in Batdey Krom village, Thbong Khmom district, a 28-year-old doctor working at Chyro 1 Health Center was attacked by a man named Ly Chansory while vaccinating 100 people against Covid-19.

The suspect, Hong Serey Samrethy, was amongst the last 20 people to receive the vaccine, however, because the suspect did not have a valid phone number for the registration, he was told to wait aside while the doctors finished up the vaccination.

Then, about 10 minutes later, a car was seen being driven into the health center, and the suspect approached it and talked to the driver. Then he returned to the queue to attack the doctor who had told him to wait, and swore at him and attacked him.
The doctor called for help but no one was willing to come to his rescue. According to the victim, he only wants justice, but not damages, so that this will not happen again.
The police have looked into the matter and started to search for the alleged offender.

I love these translations. I’m imagining him going for a world record attempt for simultaneous vaccinations by holding 24 syringes in each hand and foot, and four in his mouth.
