'Malevolent Cretin' Accused of Doing a Runner in Phnom Penh
Re: 'Malevolent Cretin' Accused of Doing a Runner in Phnom Penh
I think by "OP" he meant the Facebook OP.Albror wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 3:58 amOP?Doc67 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 9:45 am The OP got mugged off by a scrounger. Nothing new there, the world is full of them.
What is new is people bleating to anyone who will listen about how they are a victim. This is to achieve their victimhood status and elicit sympathy and support, because the are raising awareness, Raising awareness is a fancy way of saying "I am moaning about [insert cause here]" It's a catch-all justification for all the shit-stirrers and activists with their petty little causes.
The OP is a victim of his own gullibility as much as the scrounger. Until he starts to accept most of the blame and learn from it, he will be a mark forever.
People used to get praise and respect for doing something good, courageous, maybe even heroic. They aspired to that. These days all you have top do is be pathetic and invite sympathy and the attention will flow.
It's $400. Take it on the chin and learn from it. Don't make matters worse by mugging yourself off again by telling everyone.
CEO took this from a closed facebook group and reposted here. The group where he posted it only have one purpose, to warn about unhonest people in cambodia to other members. So if you have a problem you can ask CEO why they posted it here. The victim did not.

Indeed.
The dastardly anti flip flop gang can do a runner across 100 metres of soft sand in red high heels.
they gotta be a suspect in any case like this.

He, David Aristole, published it in probably the biggest media sewer in the world. He's fair game.

Factually incorrect, but carry on.

Cool, and it might have been shared all over as well, so who knows where all it was shared, or who saw it where first, etc.Albror wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:55 pmI was so sure it was from the blacklist. Then ill stand corrected.

Re: 'Malevolent Cretin' Accused of Doing a Runner in Phnom Penh
Dearest Bill,
I wish I could be there for the moment of the realization, be that in the form of an epiphany or as a more passive growth of awareness; (you know mate? - that occasional clear thought that begins to take shape then dissipates prematurely, I guess as one of the unintended bi-products of occasional sobriety) that indeed, you have me confused with another man...It's okay mate. No offense taken. There are tons of grubby old blokes here, yelling at the computer screen, shaking their fist and braying. It makes me feel sad sometimes when I am reminded that other than being a sustainable retirement alcoholic, career opportunities are even more limited for barang expat seniors, the bitter and dishonest ones like you in particular, where you couldn't put your hand on your heart and say anyone truly has your back.. That's why I can't identify you, but you can allegedly identify me. Are you Elliot's dad? lol,
I know your type, Bill.. Sour and jaded, trying to hide your aimlessness and growing lack of relevance. As you continue your walk into your twilight years in South East Asia alone, pissing in people's cereal along the way and trying to pervert the course of someone trying to get their money back, just remember- the mark of the man is the way he has treated the creatures who could do nothing for him.
In addition to living in Riverside, 20 minutes away from The Deck, I have never so much as placed a foot on, in, or around The Deck. I quite literally just had to ask my partner how long it would take us if we were to ride to The Deck on moto. My strangely timed question resulted in me having to show her your post, Bill, to which she just rolled her eyes.
Bill, I'm growing concerned that you've seen me "frequently" in an establishment where I have to this day, never been a part of the patronage. Part of that might result from the fact that I don't drink...
Now, I'm not sure whose backstory your degenerative mental health has caused you to fuse with my own, but I do not advertise custom computers at all. Who is going to commission a barang to build them a custom computer in this financial climate, fool? Sustainably? In Cambodia? I repair, recycle and upcycle old, broken, PCs, laptops and parts into working systems to share with the community. Aside from that I just buy and sell older computers, tune up existing customer computers and hand out free tech support online to anybody working in the education sector. I have a business page on Facebook as well as a group page. I've maybe sold 2 custom built PC's in the time this business has been operating. They are both customers who I could call upon any day to validate my service and my follow through. Where are the unhappy customers? Not that you and I have ever even done a transaction of any sort for you to have any awareness of me anyway. It's easy to spew asinine trash about someone you don't know when you are hiding behind the veil of anonymity.
And finally, again, who are you fucking confusing me with? Bragging about getting with girls right after they get out of school? It feels like you've been having imaginary conversations at "The Deck" with a version of me who doesn't even exist. I've never met you. I've never heard of you. I've never been to the deck. I've never had a conversation with anyone at The Deck and if I HAD been to The Deck, rest assured that I work far too much not to make the most of a few hours where I don't need to talk computers.
"You can frequently find him at the deck" - False. You, on the other hand must be there often if you think you've spotted me there enough times to make this remark.
A parasite, a pox, a plague and a palsy upon your house, good sir. Plait your shit.
My contempt,
David Aristole

If you actually *read* the post, Doc, which I see now that you did not, I did stipulate that I wanted to drive him out of hiding via public shame. I don't give two shits about "warning people about him". This city knows Elliot already. I just want to shame him into coming out of hiding to settle this debt with me. 100%, I wish I could say it was that selfless, but nope, sorry... Just need the money. I've got bills too and he's riding around in tuk tuks drunk and high with hookers and I'm hearing about it from multiple people. A little hard to sit by and do nothing.
And as for being "fair game", yeah of course. I'm not made of glass. I know some pot shots will be taken at me. It is true that I was born during the night, but it wasn't last night.

David, I have almost zero interest in such matters, so i take no position at all
- but i must say you have played a very fine front-foot defence.
Gold medal.
