You seem pretty certain of yourself there, do you have anything to back that up?

Seems unlikely to me that they will have tourist visas by December. BUT then the're on track to complete vaccinating over 18s by October and will presumably have finished 12-17yos by December. Their policy seems to be 'jab and let rip', so you never know, they might just do it.

Keep an eye on the news. Schools are still closed, they will not open up the country before schools are up and running safely.

They're vaccinating like crazy but the effects seem limited to me. Time will tell if these vaccinations are the way out, or not.

It's too early now to predict with certainty but my bets are on 'no tourist visa' this December.

Cambodian passport holders no problem as no visa is required.

If the 2 kids were born to a Cambodian, then they are eligible for, and need to obtain, K-type (Special) Visas in advance from a Cambodian Embassy/Consulate, free of charge and valid for the lifetime of the passport.

Assuming you are Dutch, and residing in the Netherlands, then you will need to (under current restrictions) contact the Cambodian Embassy in Belgium to confirm what their criteria is for the issuing of the E-type (Ordinary/Business) Visa. People have managed to successfully obtain the E-type Visa from the Embassy in Belgium based on marriage to a Cambodian National.

In my opinion, it is unlikely that the current entry requirements and restrictions will be eased or suspended this year.

That’s it? December’s not for 5 months, and plenty of countries are opening up with comparable figures.
I’m not saying it’ll definitely be open, but it seems foolhardy to act so sure of yourself either way.

So what do you think the odds are Cambodia will be open for tourists, without any form of quarantine, in December 2021?

Yes, all countries should seal their borders and force citizens to stay at home and starve until that glorious day that death is eliminated arrives and universal immortality is achieved.

This is the only way that humanity can be saved from this deadly disease. :salut:
