Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 19, 2021, in an unidentified condominium at the corner of Street 222 and 55, Sangkat Boeung Reang, Khan Daun Penh, the police raided a hidden KTV on the 6th floor, where around 100 men and women were arrested; most of them were Chinese nationals. Ready for raids.
I wonder what the competent authorities will give out as punishment.
Re: Raid Reveals Hidden Chinese KTV Drug Club
Will there be an update on the unidentified condominium were mostly the 100 Chinese nationals had been busted for illegal gathering. Any other nationalities on the premises at the time, and what type and quantities of drugs found, how about the drug tests and Covid tests, any results, seems limited on testing results, to say this is putting general public at risk of the pandemic.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

More details on the raid:

UPDATE: ‘Phnom Penh condo raid’ was on ‘secret nightclub’ – 87 Chinese nationals among those arrested
Following todays news that over 100 people were arrested – including foreign nationals – in a major Phnom Penh condo raid, it has now been revealed that the raid was on a clandestine nightclub being operated in direct defiance of Royal Government regulations.
The raid took place at 12.10am this morning behind the former X2 Entertainment Club on the corner of Street 55 and Street 222 in Daun Penh.
The operation was led by Brigadier General Teng Sothy, Deputy Commissioner of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police and included elements of the Special Intervention Force of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police (SDU) and the Bureau of Minor Offenses and the Bureau of Immigration
The target of the raid was a 12 story building currently under repair.
On the 6th floor of the building is a ‘secret place’ where a illegal nightclub has been operating to enable revellers to take drugs and party in defiance of Royal Government regulations on large gatherings.
When the authorities raided the illegal nightspot, they found 3 large rooms organized as a club with scores of partygoers intent on ‘having a good time’.
After the 3 hour long raid, police arrested a group of people, including 53 Chinese men and 34 Chinese women, as well as confiscating ‘white powders’ believed to be methamphetamine or cocaine.
The suspects were then transported by bus to the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to be processed.
Police sources say that this indicates the existence of an illegal ‘night time culture’ that is still operating despite the COVID shutdown of clubs.
It is hoped that those who openly defy the rules that Cambodia has set to protect it’s citizens will be robustly punished.

Would definitely like to hear the covid test results of those 100 people.
They ought to be robustly tested, robustly dealt with, and robustly returned to China.

I'd imagine that's the last we'll hear of it. As per, these stories are very rarely followed up.
